This is Crazy!!

Not a whole lot of time got a lot of things to do! i hope that you all have a great week and remember the importance of Daily repentance and Continual Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as the general authorities have talked about! read and read and study again the words of the Prophets and Apostles for in those you will find Peace, Joy, and Never Ending happiness as that all testify of Jesus Christ and his divinity! love ya all and i hope you have a great week!

Testimony

Well this week was great we have had miracles left and right this week! I want you all to know how much i am grateful for the things that you have done for me! I know that with out you i wouldnt be where i am at today! i know that as we do the small and simple things in the Gospel, like reading praying and attending church and the temple that Heavenly Father will bless us in all of our needs, both temporal and spiritual! He cares so much for us and he wants us to become perfect like he is but in order to do that we have to give him our whole Heart might mind and strength! The one thing that we have, that we can truly give to him is our will! That is one thing that WE have to give to him in order to give him our all! Everything else he has given to us and he can take away but our free will! But when we give that to him, the very doors of Heaven will be opened up to us! i love you all i i know that with out a shadow of a doubt that this church is true! That as we read the Book of Mormon every single day, and apply it our hearts will be softened and we will be able to become instruments in the Lords hands and be able to reach our full potential! Miracles upon Miracles

This week was awesome we taught so many people we have 5 people on date right now that are all solid and are progressing!

The one i want to talk about is Tucker and Melonde. Tucker is a less active who is on the College Basketball team. we have been trying to get incontact with him for a while and we finally got in contact with him about 2 months ago. when we did it was right when his Girlfriend started asking questions about the church. It was perfect timing! She was telling him about how she wished that they could be together forever, and he said well actually that is possible we believe that in my church. So we met up with them the next day and started teaching her! 

On friday last week it was our third lesson with them and we had been praying and thought that it was time to try to put her on date! We started the Lesson by talking about where she was at with things and how she was feeling. she said she still didnt understand what was different between our church and other churches. This is where tucker jumped in! he started talking about what made our church different and bearing his testimony! this was the first time he had done this in all the lessons! there was a different spirit there then usual. after he answered her question we started finishing the plan of salvation. It went great then she asked the most perfect lead in question to baptism. "I want to live with God in heaven! what do i need to do to get there?" and we told her baptism was that first step along with reading and praying to know if these things are true! She said well i want to be baptized! then tucker looked at us and asked, " what does someone have to do to be able to baptize someone?" we told him then he looked at melonde and said if i become worthy and we start going to church then i can baptize you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" HOLY CRAP it was the coolest thing ever! the spirit was super strong! then tucker came in again. he said, " mel the only way i will baptize you is if you know for your self that this church is true. I dont want you to be thinking o my gosh this is so cute that tucker is going to baptize me. I want you to do this for yourself you have to start reading and praying so you can find out for sure if this is true and this is what you want!" it was amazing ! we bore testimony them then asked them to both prepare them selves to work towards the date of oct. 29th! Looks like i will be coming back to michigan sooner then expected! haha. The both said yes and they both came to church on sunday. During sacrament i was sitting next to melonde and tucker was teaching here about the sacrament and also showing her pictures of the temple in detroit! it was pretty amazing and cool to see! then after sacrament tucker asked me if i thought that the branch president would have time to meet with him and melonde. and i told he for sure so he went up and asked him and they went staight to his office! things are forsure moving forward in the work of salvation here in Kalamazoo and im super glad to be a part of it! love you all and thank you for all your prayers! hope you all have a great week!!

Baptism!!

Hey Everyone! i hope that you are all having a great week! This week has been really good things have been super busy! this week we were able to have a baptism for aly perry! she is super solid and was prepared by the Lord. We have been working as a misson to promise blessing in the name of Jesus Christ because we know that it can bring more power and authority then anything else can! In one of our lessons this week Aly promised our investigator blessing in the name of Jesus Christ and the spirit just came with full force! you knew that she had changed and was converted! We also got to go to another baptism in Bay City for Nathan Williamson, who we were teaching about 3 months ago! He texted and asked me to baptize him! it was a really neat experience to be able to be a part of because he had come such a long way! This week i have been reflecting a lot on my Real Intent that i have in all of the actions that i do and make! i felt like there was more that i could be giving! Sacrament meeting was probably one of the most spiritual sacrament meetings i have had on my mission! Not because there was anything huge that stuck out to me but because the spirit was there and i could feel it more because i was focusing on my real intent! i can promise you all that as you focus on having real intent in all that you do then God will bless you with a Power that you can not find anywhere else! i love you and i hope that you all have a great week!

Great Week!

This week was a great week! a lot of things have been happening for us! we have been able to find new investigators and contact some old ones! We also got to go the temple on Saturday with the branch and the sister and had a great time! The Best part of this week was teaching Aly. Aly is a sweet girl that we met about 2 weeks ago. When we first started talking to her she had told us that she was a member of our church but didnt really agree with the doctrine. we still asked if we could meet with her and she said sure. We met with her at the first of last week and kinda just got to know her. She was super funny and cool. We asked what made her want to sit down with us, since she had passed up a bunch of missionaries before and she said that she just felt something different. God truly prepares people!!!!!! we had a great lesson with her just getting to know her thinking it was a less active lesson and at the end she said. ya know there is just something different about you guys. and she asked are you really FLDS......? We were like no way! And she said o my gosh you dont know how big of a relief that is! she said my mom is flds and i thought thats what you guys were and i was feeling like this was true and i thought o no im going to have to become FLDS haha we had a good laugh about it and set up another lesson. We taught the restoration a couple days latter and had a great lesson. She accepted everything! the next time we saw her we just talked she told us about how her and her fiance called it off because of some things that happened one of the big reasons that she called it off was because she would support her meeting with us! She asked about baptism and committed her to pray about it and she brought up that she needed to come to church to know if this was true! she brought it up herself! it was crazy! she came to church on sunday and absolutley loved it! she made a great friend with one of the members! She had already read the intro of the Book of Mormon and up til chapter 9 in First Nephi! it was awesome! She called us after church asking about how the Atonement works and how she can repent! then Later that night she called the member friend and they talk for 2 hours about the church! we met with her today and had a great lesson on the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Atonement! she is Super Solid! God really does prepare people for us missionaries and members to find and help teach! she has set a date for august 6th! please prayer for her! she knows that it is true but she is having to give up a lot of friends and family to make things work out! pray for her strength!!!!!!!!!!!! i love you all and i hope that you can have amazing weeks! and be grateful for the Gospel that we have in our lifes! love ya

This is what the sisters gave me for my birthday because im trying to look good for when i get home! and because there is a crazy member that calls me the king when we go to there house for dinner.
